My shot for the monochrome example is of my cat, Sam. As you can see, he is an orange cat with quite a few different shades of lighter color. This was taken in macro, and was very difficult as he was looking to play with the dangling lens cap as opposed to sitting still for me.

ReplyDeletethe different shades seem to flow down the cats side in layers... darker orange, lighter orange, darker orange, lighter orange...
it looks really cool!
I love all the oranges in this photo- and you have the focus sharp enough that I can actually see the fur! I like the way that the lighting creates almost concentric circles.
